Eric Swinderman is an award winning writer, director, producer from Cleveland, Ohio. He is most noted for the film MADE IN CLEVELAND starring Busy Philipps (Cougar Town) Gillian Jacobs (NBC's Community) George Roth (Batman) and Jeffrey Grover (Take Shelter).

 

Eric earned his BA in filmmaking from Cleveland State University in Cleveland, Ohio where he also minored Dramatic arts, studying the Meisner, Stanislavksy and Strasburg methods.

 

He has studied and performed at the Famous Second City theater which has given birth to some many of the great comedic actors of our generation, including Tina Fey, Stephen Colbert, Steve Carell, Amy Sedaris, Rachel Dratch, Chris Farley and many others.

 

He has taught film and acting at The Cleveland Institute of Art and the Young Actors Studio. He is currently the Executive Director of CINEMA Cleveland.

 

Eric has written and directed and performed for stage, TV and film and has worked with actors of all levels from Cleveland to Hollywood.
